Workshop by Post is limited to verified trade-account holders. The job is submitted first so A&M can review the item type, value, condition and requested work.
Do not send jewellery until A&M has accepted the submission and issued the correct sending instructions.

The route depends on the item, its value and the work requested. A&M confirms what is suitable before anything is dispatched.

Provide the item description, condition, value and required work.

Receive sending instructions
A&M confirms whether the job is suitable and provides the correct delivery details.

Pack, send and retain evidence
Follow the agreed packing and carrier instructions, then keep photographs and proof of posting.

Assessment, work and return
Receipt is recorded, any required quotation is approved, and the completed job is returned by the agreed method.
Before dispatch
Use the instructions issued for the individual job.
Photograph the item, prevent movement inside the package and keep the outer packaging discreet. The carrier, service level, declared value and available compensation must suit the contents.

Can I send jewellery before A&M accepts the job?
No. We first need to confirm the trade account, the work and the correct delivery instructions.
What if the piece is especially valuable or fragile?
A&M may require an in-person handover or another specifically agreed arrangement.
