Preparation is defined by the next production stage.

Preparation is defined by what comes next. A mount going to setting may need a different level of finish from one returning for assembly, inspection or client presentation.

We confirm the number of pieces, intended assembly, metal, setting plan and any areas that must remain accessible. Components should be identified so matched parts stay together.

Components remain matched from intake through to return.

  1. 01

    Count and identify

Match all components to the job reference and confirm which pieces form each mount.

  2. 02

    Check the next stage

Clarify whether the mount is being prepared for setting, assembly, finishing or another operation.

  3. 03

    Clean and prepare

Remove the agreed surface and production residue without obscuring detail or fit.

  4. 04

    Return as a set

Inspect, group and label the prepared components for the next workshop stage.

The next production stage determines the preparation standard.

  • Number of components per mount
  • Metal
  • Quantity of complete mounts
  • Next production stage

Count and identify every component, then mark any seat, joining area or surface that must remain untouched.

The number of mount pieces sets the starting price.

The standard schedule separates one, two and three-piece ring mounts. Larger consistent batches may qualify for preferential pricing after the preparation standard and component condition have been agreed.

Prices exclude VAT. Repeat batches can be reviewed when component condition and the required preparation standard are consistent. VAT is added at the applicable rate.
