Trade pricing
Jewellery workshop pricing and quotations.
Defined operations follow the trade schedule. Variable and condition-led work is assessed individually.
Standard rate
Used where the item and operation fit a defined category, such as a specified ring finish or setting profile.
Starting price
Used where size, construction, access or condition can increase the work. Bangles, larger stones, CAD and several other services begin this way.
Quoted work
Repairs, alterations, cutting lines, millegrain, adding beads and custom work are assessed by labour and any materials supplied.
Volume price
Preferential pricing may apply when a larger quantity is genuinely repeatable. Quantity alone is not enough if every item requires a different repair or handling route.
What changes a quote
The factors behind an accurate quotation.
- How many pieces are there?
- Are the items and operations consistent?
- What metal, stones and construction are involved?
- Will A&M supply material?
- Is preparation or corrective work required first?
- What finish and final checks are expected?
VAT and access
Prices are shown to approved trade accounts.
All prices exclude VAT. VAT is added at the applicable rate. A VAT number is required whenever the applicant is VAT registered. Approved account rates and invoices are issued against the correct business record.
